Paris

Paris, Tours, Lyon, France

Some places become part of your story, and France has been part of mine for as long as I can remember. I first visited with my family as a child, returned for a student exchange as a teenager, and later lived there during my undergraduate studies. With each visit, my connection to the country deepened, and no matter where life takes me, I always find myself drawn back.

This collection, featured in my December 2025 exhibit in Kingsville, brings together images from Paris, Tours, and Lyon. While these places hold decades of memories for me, this particular journey was especially meaningful because I experienced it alongside my husband. Sharing the streets, cafés, architecture, and everyday beauty of France with him gave me the opportunity to see a place I love through fresh eyes.

These photographs are more than travel images—they are reflections of memory, connection, and belonging. They capture a country that has shaped me throughout my life and a journey that allowed me to revisit it in a new way. France will always feel like a second home, and through these images, I hope to share a little of the wonder that continues to draw me back.
